We have been told that milk and dairy are super foods for us.
Well my opinion is very different. I think that dairy products (cheese, milk, cream, yogurt, etc…) makes us fat and causes many other health problems. Here is a good article I recently read about dairy products by Evelyn Parham.
I do agree with Evelyn Parham on may levels about dairy. I do think that butter is OK to have in your regular diet because it doesn’t have the protein “casein” in it.
It seems to me that we have been led astray by being told by experts that dairy products are mandatory. I constantly have women come into my office and tell me that their doctors say that they have to be eating dairy or else they will have fragile bones.
I’m sick of it!
I don’t even think that women should be taking calcium supplements without the proper diagnosis. Randomly taking calcium supplements will lead to patients needing calcium channel blockers, having digestive problems and possibly bone density problems later in life.
Where do I get my calcium from then?
Eat dark green leafy vegetables!!! If your digestive tract works well you will absorb calcium and all your other minerals form you food. You just have to eat a balanced diet of proteins with healthy fats, vegetables and fruit.
Bone health is mainly related to good digestive and adrenal gland function. To prevent your digestion and adrenal glands from becoming weak due to bad diet choices, don’t eat sugar, carbohydrates, and refined foods. And eat smaller meals with snacking every few hours. Basically follow the eating right diet.
Keep your bones strong by eating right, exercising regularly (waking is best) and avoiding sugar, dairy, wheat, soy and any refined, packaged foods.
