Dr. Mercola summed it up perfectly with his post today, “Reduce Grains and Sugar to Lose Weight and Improve Health”. This is what I have found out in my decade and a half of experimenting with diet.
Grains and sugar are creating havoc on you health. They cause excess weight, fatigue, depression, mental fogginess, bloating, blood pressure problems, blood sugar imbalances, candida overgrowth and much more.
If you want to feel better fast cut out the grains and sugars. This also includes “gluten free” grain foods. Just because it is a gluten free bread or cookie doesn’t mean it’s good for you. Your body is not designed to eat large amounts of grains, period. Also cut out the fruit juice. It is basically a sugar drink like coke or pepsi without the bubbles.
Eat protein and vegetables and whole fresh fruit in between your meals. Unless you want to lose weight fast cut out the fruit.
